Bias & Microaggression

We take a positive approach to build healthy behaviors and habits.

WHAT IS THE BIAS & MICROAGGRESSION WORKSHOP?

This workshop provides employees with a shared understanding of what biases and microaggressions are; how they show up in the workplace; and impact on employee performance. Mock scenarios round out the learning experience, allowing participants to practice responses in real-time.

WHY YOU SHOULD SIGN UP:

We all have biases – it is human nature. While having biases does not mean someone is a bad person, how they act on those biases makes a world of difference.

In a work setting this can create problems such as tense environments, turnover, brand reputation and more. Ironically, as microaggressions are the manifestation of one’s bias, action becomes the culprit and solution.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

  • Individuals who want to be able to better identify and address biases and microaggressions when they show up.

  • Professionals who are open to self-discovery, to uncover personal biases and ensure they aren’t perpetrators of microaggressions.

  • Teams that want to develop a more inclusive workplace for all and be more connected and more effective.

  • Professional teams ready to take their DEI commitment to the next level.
